- Clear, guided consultation: During your Smile Assessment, we’ll take digital imaging, review your oral health, and walk you through your options, costs, and next steps. You’ll meet with the doctor to review your results and ask any questions so you fully understand your personalized plan.

Does insurance cover dental implants?
Typically insurance does not cover implants, however we are happy to check your coverage to verify. We offer financing through CareCredit®, Cherry, LendingClub Proceed Finance, Alphaeon, and Union Bank to make paying for your implants easier on your budget.

Do you offer a membership plan for patients without insurance?
Yes. Capital Dental offers an in-house membership plan designed for patients without insurance. Members enjoy 25% off dental implants, along with included preventative care and reduced rates on additional treatments for a simple, more predictable approach to dental costs.

Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients are surprised to learn that getting a dental implant is not as painful as they expected. The procedure is performed using local anesthesia, and many patients choose sedation dentistry to help them feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the process. With sedation, you may feel very calm or even sleep through the procedure.
After the implant is placed, it’s normal to experience mild soreness or swelling for a few days, similar to what you might feel after a tooth extraction. This discomfort can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain medication and typically improves quickly as your mouth heals.
